User Settings

User Settings holds your personal editor preferences — the light or dark theme, editor colors, selection and snap styling, and the Vertex Tool overlay. These are per-user settings saved in your browser. They are not part of any venue’s map data, so changing them only affects your own editing view, never the published map or your collaborators.

Open User Settings

  1. Open the user menu in the header (your avatar).
  2. Choose User Settings. The modal opens on the General tab.
  3. Select the Personalization tab to reach the editor preferences.

What’s inside

  • General — profile information (name and avatar) and two-factor authentication.
  • Personalization — editor appearance: theme, editor colors, selection style, snap settings, and the Vertex Tool (Edit-Mode Styling) overlay.
  • Account — subscription and billing.
  • Notifications — notification preferences.

The Personalization tab has a Reset to Defaults button that restores every editor preference at once.

Notes

  • Editor preferences are saved per user and persist across sessions. They are not part of the map and are never published.
  • Changing a preference updates only your own editor view; collaborators keep their own settings.
